the friday feeling

the start of another lovely weekend, and the weather is beautiful, so i thought i would treat my customers to some nice tulips to look at in the shop..lovely cream tulips, my favorite flowers..

and i had only just put them into a vase... when i got a lovely surprise from a customer

i was over whelmed.. beautiful red tulips and daffodils...now that really made me smile...

and then to complete the day, i have my little helper in, Chloe, she is doing her duke of Ed and needs to do one hour a week at a craft, so she is helping me paint some things, and what a great help and great wee girl she is... i think she loves it too...

this is my forth week in business and i had two unexpected visitors come into the shop...and i was so delighted to see them..

we like to go through our chores with a bit of fun, this sign would brighten up any day for the laundry

awe... for all the romantics....think everyone is underneath it all.....this would melt the heart of a stone...

well, this one speaks for itself, need i say anymore...

we have gone all spotted
and dotted....
and we love it..

official opening

so, we were opened, but not officially, so we thought it would be nice to ask the mayor of limavady along to make it all "official"..and he did...

well, he turned up, and he did his job, with a wee speech and we cut the ribbon, and so, Finishing Touches Too.. is now officially opened for business....

so, i thought i better get behind the counter and start serving..

well, it is easy to get side tracked when there is a camera about, either in front of it or behind it or even in it...

everyone was welcome....

and there was loads of goodies.... not there now... this bowl is empty.....

as the shop was now in business four days, we thought it needed some TLC, and that an official opening would seal the deal...

so we had some more fairies offering their kind help... Lisa baked the tinest cutiest wee buns i ever did see and they tasted as good as they looked...
