new beginnings......

have finally got my online shop up and running...anyone that has one, will know the hard work involved...but im loving it...so exciting getting orders from near and afar...

giving myself an A*..... and loads of new stock arrived this week and all uploaded...ready to go...

we are looking forward to spring and all the lovely fresh colours that come along with it....

so January wasnt so bad after all....but its Feburary that we love...

...and romance lives on...

shhhhhhh.... i have the most romantic little story to share....a customer came into the shop and told me he was taking his girlfriend away for the weekend.....to propose!!!!!!!!

and he wanted to do it in a little story of cards...so this how the story goes...

forget about the washing this weekend...im taking you away for the weekend...

so he packed the car and off they went...

the two of them went out to dinner...and the romantic setting was set...

love was in the air...

and so he proposed...

and she said yes....

and now two are better than one...

so the beautiful cards from @dots and spots helped with the proposal..

January..get up and go

Now christmas is over...and what a lovely one we had..tree and decorations all down..so its plan and get ready for spring..



getting myself motivated and energised is the first thing...so a walk to our local Beach was a must..

had the beach almost to ourselves..

 

but it is the best place to go to re-charge the batteries...for all the new spring stock arriving..

so looking forward to all the new ranges arriving...

 lots of polka dots and vintage roses...

and then we have the next big event...which i love...valentines...

this was a customer order for christmas...so romantic...

santa is on his way...and going to get here in style...

easter

and whilst easter approaches very soon, i love this time of year, has a great buzz with no pressure...and as this is my second easter in the shop, i wanted to reflect on last year and how things have grown..

we were only opened one month when this was taken...but we still enjoyed our first easter..

we had little cupcake decorations, that were such a favorite with all the keen bakers..

and the little flowers and hearts make everything look so pretty..

and the birdhouses and easter decorations can be brought out every year..

and we loved our easter window for this year too...so bright and colourful...looking forward to year three...
